Endeavour Silver Says Worker Dies in Mexican Mine Accident, Shares Flat

Endeavour Silver ( EXK ) says it closed its Dolores mine in Guanajuato State, Mexico, on Thursday following a fatal accident involving a contractor.

The incident happened underground at the El Cubo mine operations. Endeavour said it's working with Mexican authorities to investigate the accident and will review and implement additional safety procedures if necessary.

Authorities have approved the re-opening of the mine, though the accident scene remains closed.

The shares are flat at $4.69, which is in the low end of a 52-week range of $4.31 - $10.73.
