EMU: Consumer Confidence improves slightly in December

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone Consumer Confidence increased to -26.5 in December, from -26.9 in November, the European Commission reported on Tuesday. This reading is almost in line with expectations of -26.6.

Business Climate grew to -1.12 from -1.17, below forecasts of -1.10. Industrial Confidence rose to -14.4 from -15, as expected. Services Sentiment improved to -9.8 from -11.9, above projections of -10.8. The Economic Sentiment Indicator increased to 87 from 85.7, above market consensus of 86.5.
