EMU: Annual CPI at 2.2% in December

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - As expected, annual Eurozone inflation was at 2.2% in December, following a 2.2% reading the previous month, Eurostat reported on Wednesday. On a monthly basis CPI increased 0.4% in December, compared with the 0.2% drop in November, slightly above expectations of a 0.3% increase.

Eurozone Core CPI edged up 1.5% in December, following +1.4% the previous month.
