Electrolux, Quirky in Talks to Buy GE Home Appliances -Bloomberg

General Electric Co. ( GE ) is again considering the sale of its home appliances division and has drawn interest from Sweden'sElectrolux AB ( ELUXY ) and consumer product development startup Quirky, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing two people with knowledge of the matter.

The deal could be worth as much as $2 billion, the report said.

Quirky would tie-up with private-equity firms to take a majority stake in the century-old business, Bloomberg said, while Electrolux could float a bid alone.
