Eldorado Gold Corporation (ELD.TO) announced that due to the damage sustained by the Anglo Ferrous ship loading facility at Santana Port, Brazil on March 28, 2013, it will be temporarily unable to ship iron ore from its Vila Nova Iron Ore mine in northern Brazil.

The company is presently investigating alternative options for the shipment of its ore. Eldorado says the Vila Nova mine's operating performance will be adversely affected due to this disruption.

ELD shares were off 79 cents at $8.74 on volume of 2.84 million.
