Ecopetrol Sets New 52-Week Low, Now Down 3%; Posts Lower Q1 Earnings, Sales Vs. Year Ago Levels

Colombia's Ecopetrol S.A. ( EC ) is down 2.6% at $45.95 after setting a new 52-week low of $44.87.

The company late Friday reported Q1 earnings of COP$85.02 per share, below analyst estimates of COP$101.41 per share., lower than prior year earnings of COP$105.63 per share. It is unclear if analyst estimates are comparable to actual results.

Revenues were COP$16.7 billion compared to analyst estimates of COP$18.5 billion, higher than prior year revenues of COP$18.0 billion.

ADRs of EC trade within a new 52-week range of $44.87 - $66.
