Dow, S&P and Nasdaq end week higher

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - U.S. stocks fell on Friday as corporate news and investors' focus on developments in Spain depressed market's appetite for risk.

After three days of gains, the Dow dropped 120.79 points, or 0.9%, to finish at 12,822.57. The Nasdaq Composite slipped 40.60 points, or 1.4% to 2,925.30. The S&P 500 Index shed 13.85 points, or 1% to 1,362.66. For the week, the Dow and S&P 500 both rallied 0.4%, while the Nasdaq climbed 0.6%. For the month of July, the Dow is down around 0.5%, the Nasdaq is down 0.3% and the S&P 500 Index is recording a gain of less than 0.1%.
