Dividend Increases: SWX, GGP, JWN, NRF, KSS

This morning, Southwest Gas ( SWX ) declared its quarterly dividend of 36.5 cents per share, an increase of about 11% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 2.7% going forward. Shares of SWX were lower on Thursday, falling 0.5% so far.

In other dividend news, General Growth Properties ( GGP ) announced its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share, an increase of about 7%. Nordstrom ( JWN ) announced its quarterly dividend of 33 cents per share, an increase of about 10% over its prior dividend. Northstar Realty Finance ( NRF ) announced its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share, an increase of about 19%. And Kohl's ( KSS ) announced its quarterly dividend of 39 cents per share, an increase of about 11%.
