Data is light before Fed tomorrow

Today's economic calendar is relatively uneventful, likely keeping attention on tomorrow's Federal Reserve monetary-policy announcement.

The first data point is Germany's Zew survey of economic sentiment, scheduled for early in the morning. It could have some impact on pre-market trading.

Consumer prices, at 8:30 a.m. ET, is the only U.S. data release. Economists are looking for both the headline and core numbers to increase 0.2 percent, matching last month's move. Inflation hasn't been a major concern in the market recently, so it will probably not have a big effect.

Adobe Systems also reports earnings after the closing bell.
