Comstock Mining Merrill-Crowe Plant Fully Operational; Shares Rise 1%

Comstock Mining Inc. ( LODE ) announced that its Merrill-Crowe Plant has been fully commissioned and the company has been running solution containing robust concentrations of gold and silver through the Merrill Crowe process.

The plant is operating in equilibrium with the current heap flow rate of approximately 500 gallons per minute. After the gold and silver precipitate sufficiently accumulates in the filters, the company will proceed with pouring Dore bars. The first pour is expected to take place this month.

LODE shares are up 1% to $2.97.
