•    Schiff Nutrition International Inc. (NYSE: SHF ) posted first quarter earnings per share of $0.23, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.18

•    Shares of Energizer Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ENR ) surged 10.7% after it announced it was cutting jobs, streamlining its manufacturing facilities and reducing operating expenditure. Moreover, Energizer anticipates that it would save $175 million to $200 million through these efforts

•    Provider of mobile marketing and advertising technology, Velti Plc (NASDAQ: VELT ) soared 12.8% after it concluded a two-year deal of $27 million with a "major U.S. brand"
