•    Wine and spirits distributor Constellation Brands, Inc. (NYSE: STZ ) reported quarterly earnings of $0.71 a share, outpacing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.54

•    An announcement by Avon Products, Inc. (NYSE: AVP ) that the company's chairman and former CEO will resign from office at the end of the year helped the company's shares jump 7.2%

•    Shares of Datalink Corporation (NASDAQ: DTLK ) slumped 13.4% after the company slashed third quarter adjusted earnings as well as revenues
