•    The world's largest operator of cargo airlines, FedEx Corporation (NYSE: FDX ) lost 3.5% after it estimated lower-than-expected current quarter earnings and said that the economy has softened

•    FuelCell Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: FCEL ) announced that it will sell 20 million shares at $1.50 each. Subsequently the stock plunged 11.9%

•    ConAgra Foods Inc. (NYSE: CAG ) reported third-quarter fiscal diluted earnings per share of $0.65, which surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.49

•    Shares of Costamare Inc (NYSE: CMRE ) lost almost 9.0% after it issued a secondary offering of 7.5 million shares for $14.10 a share
