•    Ciena Corporation (NASDAQ: CIEN ) posted a second quarter loss per share of $0.04, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate for a loss of $0.14

•    Shares of CGI Group, Inc. (NYSE: GIB ) gained 13.7% after it announced it was purchasing Anglo-Dutch rival Logica PLC for $2.64 billion
