•    The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV ) posted second quarter earnings per share of $1.26, falling shy of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.37 by 11 cents

•    Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR ) reported second quarter earnings per share of $0.81, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.80 by a penny
