•    Shares of Motorola Solutions Inc (NYSE: MSI ) dropped 3.9% despite reporting fourth-quarter 2013 adjusted earnings per share of $1.57, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.50.

•    Texas Instruments Inc. (NASDAQ: TXN ) announced that it will lay off 1,100 employees in the U.S., India and Japan
