•    Following media reports that American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG ) was considering an initial public offering of its airplane leasing unit, the company's shares gained 5.3%


•    After Hovnanian Enterprises Inc (NYSE: HOV ) announced it was selling 25 million shares, the company's shares plunged 8.5%

•    Viasystems Group Inc. (NASDAQ: VIAS ) will be taking over DDI Corp. (NASDAQ: DDIC ) for roughly $268 million

•    WebMD Health Corp. (NASDAQ: WBMD ) announced that it will repurchase 5.77 million shares at $26 per share
