Clean Energy Fuels Q4 Loss Widens

(RTTNews.com) - Clean Energy Fuels Corp. ( CLNE ) Thursday reported a wider loss for the fourth quarter of $41.7 million or $0.46 per share, from $20.9 million or $0.29 per share last year. The latest quarter outcome reflected higher sales costs and expenses when compared to the year-ago period.

Also, adjusted net loss for the quarter was $0.23 per share, compared to $0.21 per share in the same quarter last year.

Meanwhile, revenue for the quarter rose to $99.1 million, from $86.2 million in the fourth quarter prior year.

Further, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.22 per share on revenues of $91.53 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
