Citigroup Agrees to Pay $110 Million to Settle Insurance Suit -Reuters

Citigroup Inc. ( C ) said it will pay $110 million to homeowners to settle a lawsuit concerning "force-placed" insurance, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a filing in a New York federal court.

Plaintiffs in the case were charged about $758 million in hazard insurance premiums and $173 million in flood insurance premiums, Reuters reported. The settlement still requires court approval.
