China January-February Crude-Oil Imports 45.93 Million Tons; Down 2.4%

BEIJING--China imported 45.93 million metric tons of crude oil in the first two months of this year, down 2.4% from a year earlier, preliminary data from the General Administration of Customs showed Friday.

Imports of refined oil product totaled 7.3 million tons in the January-February period, an increase of 6.1% on year, the customs agency said in a press release preceding the actual publication, due later Friday, of more detailed preliminary energy trade data for the month.
