China Hydroelectric Dismisses Shareholder Group Complaint; Shares Flat

China Hydroelectric Corporation ( CHC ), which owns and operates small hydroelectric power projects in China, announced that it has dismissed the complaint it filed in U.S. District Court against a group of institutional shareholders.

The company dismissed the complaint against the shareholder group without prejudice as a precursor to the company and the group entering into good faith negotiations to resolve the current proxy dispute.

CHC shares are flat at $1.20, a day low, after trading as high as $1.29 on the day.
