Canada: Unemployment rate remained at 7.3% in August

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Jobless rate in the Canadian economy has remained at 7.3% during August, in line with forecasts.

The net change in employment rose by 34.4K bettering estimates at +10K and up from -30.4K. The participation rate was 66.6%, a hair higher than prior 66.5%

Labor productivity in the second quarter dipped 0.4% QoQ vs. 0.0% in Q1.
