Total retail sales of $104.0 million for the quarter declined
3.7% from $108.0 million in the prior-year quarter. Comps
declined 8.6% for the quarter compared with an increase of 7.2%
in the year-ago period. Last quarter, the company's total retail
sales were down 11.7%, while comps declined 10.5%.
Year to date, Bebe's total retail sales dipped 8.6% to $333.7
million from $365.0 million reported in the prior-year period.

decline in traffic at the company's comparable stores in the
