Avon Vice President buys 10,000 shares

Bobby Raines 11/08/2013

Pablo Munoz, a vice president at Avon Products ( AVP ) bought 10,000 shares of the company's common stock on Nov. 5. At $17.65 per share, Munoz paid a total of $176,500 to increase his direct holdings by 83.3%.

IK-> The technicals for AVP ($17.52 up $0.01) are bearish with a downward trend. Recent support has been around $17.41 and recent resistance has been around $17.80. Standard & Poor's has a two STARs (out of five) rating on the stock. Look at the Jan. 13/16 bull-put spread for a 20-cent credit. That's a 7.14% return and the stock has to fall 8.7% to cause a problem.  [InvestorsKeyhole, Various news and data services]
