Australian renewable energy company CBD Energy files for a $13.8 million secondary offering of new shares

CBD Energy, an Australian downstream renewable energy company, filed on Tuesday with the SEC to raise up to $13.8 million in a secondary offering of newly registered shares. CBD is currently listed on the OTC market under the symbol CBDNF. The Sydney, Australia-based company, which was founded in 1989 and booked A$70 million in sales for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2013, plans to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol CBDE. Pricing terms and underwriters were not disclosed.
