Australia: November Building Approvals soft at 2.9% (MoM)

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The Australian Bureau of Statistics reported Thursday that building approvals rose by a seasonally adjusted rate of 2.9% in November following a fall of 5.1% in the previous month, and rose 13.2% from a year ago.

"The seasonally adjusted estimate for private sector houses fell 0.3% in November and has fallen for two months," reports the statistics bureau. "The seasonally adjusted estimate for private sector dwellings excluding houses rose 10.1% in November following a fall of 15.0% in the previous month."
