Asian shares were mixed as investors awaited minutes from the July FOMC meeting due Wednesday.

Japan's stock market was rattled by reports Japan's government would raise the severity of the latest leak at Fukushima to a level 3 event, or a serious radiation incident.

However, mild support came from Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda's comments that he would not hesitate to expand the bank's already massive asset buying campaign if the economic outlook darkened.

Tianli Agritech ( OINK ) says it signed an agreement with WUSHANG MART to sell cuts of its Tianli-Xiduhei black hog meat through three of WUSHANG MART's retail outlets located in Wuhan City, Hubei province.
