Appliance Recycling Chosen to Extend ApplianceSavers Program; Shares Jump Near 7% To Day Highs

Appliance Recycling Centers of America Inc. ( ARCI ) was selected by Ameren Missouri to continue to provide appliance recycling services for the utility's ApplianceSavers Program through 2015.

The new ApplianceSavers Program, previously called the Refrigerator Recycling Program, was reinstated as of January 2, 2013. The program awards $50 to participating Ameren Missouri residential electric customers who turn in operating but energy inefficient refrigerators and freezers, manufactured in 2001 or earlier.

ARCI is up near 7% at a day's high $1.55, trading in a 52-week range of $1.10 - $6.29.
