Lester Knight, who sits on the board of directors at AON plc ( AON ) , bought 30,000 shares of the company's common stock on Feb. 4. At $77.31 per share, Knight paid a total of $2,319,150 for the new shares.

IK-> The technicals for AON ($79.50 up $2.17) are bullish with a neutral trend. Recent support has been around $76.88 and recent resistance has been around $80.74. Standard & Poor's has a three STARs (out of five) rating on the stock. Look at the April 65/70 bull-put spread for a 20-cent credit. That's a 4.17% return and the stock has to fall 11.9% to cause a problem.  [InvestorsKeyhole, Various news and data services]
