Anadarko, Chesapeake Earnings Fuel Energy ETFs

Energy exchange traded funds (ETFs) may see trading volume powered by quarterly results Monday from Anadarko Petroleum ( APC ) and Chesapeake Energy ( CHK ).

Energy-sector ETFs have been among the best performers so far this year on rising oil prices. Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (NYSEArca: XLE) has rallied nearly 20% in 2011.

The iShares Dow Jones U.S. Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Index Fund (NYSEArca: IEO) has 7.3% and 4.3% in Anadarko and Chesapeake, respectively.
