Amphenol Aerospace, a division of Amphenol Corporation ( APH ), is hopeful that its latest partnership with information and technology company Thomas Enterprise Solutions will help it to increase efficiencies and sales through distributor and direct sales channels.

Amphenol collaborated with Thomas Enterprise to benefit from the latter's expertise in manufacturing communities and its technological capabilities. Thomas Enterprise aims to centralize information about products including technical specifications and build a library of 2D-3/D Computer Aided Designs (CAD) models and drawings for thousands of Amphenol parts.

These new images can then be downloaded directly from Amphenol Aerospace's website, which will enable customers to make effective purchasing decisions. This in turn will improve efficiencies for Amphenol and augment its sales and services. Engineers can access thousands of 2D/3D CAD models and instant parts configuration.

Amphenol remains focused on inventing new products to maintain its competitive advantage worldwide. This new advanced web technology simplifies online part selection and configuration of its most popular connectors. Through this technology, customers will get easy access to part number and detailed specs that are vital for their projects

Amphenol designs and manufactures connectors and interconnecting systems that are primarily used to transmit electrical and optical signals for a wide range of sophisticated electronic applications. The company designs, manufactures and markets electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors, interconnect systems and coaxial and high-speed specialty cable.

Amphenol currently has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). Other stocks that look promising and are worth a look now are ARM Holdings plc ( ARMH ), Avago Technologies Ltd ( AVGO ) and Alpha & Omega Semiconductor, Ltd ( AOSL ), each carrying a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).
