American National Insurance Q4 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews.com) - American National Insurance Co. ( ANAT ) Monday reported fourth-quarter net income of $66.1 million or $2.46 per share, compared to $56.3 million or $2.11 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Fourth-quarter operating income, which excludes after tax net realized investment gains, increased to $37.9 million or $1.41 per share from $34.7 million or $1.30 per share in the same period last year.

Revenues for the quarter was $753.36 million compared to $776.66 million last year.
