The US Stock market experienced a slightly positive opening Wednesday, as several high profile companies post earnings today including Apple ( AAPL ). Earlier, Google ( GOOG ) reported promising figures, leading to a +5.25% rise in share price at the opening.

Beginning with the indices and composites, the NASDAQ rose +0.25% as it settles in region of 3151.84, up +7.92 points in these moments. In addition, the S&P 500 is trading in positive territory, operating at 1492.60, gaining +0.14 points or +0.01% at the time of writing. Finally, the Dow Jones has moved higher at the opening as well, trading in the zone of 13756.60, presently +0.32% after an ascent of +44.39 points.

Sectors are all mixed at the opening, however the Services and Technology sectors have distinguished themselves as the winners thus far, climbing +0.49% and +0.39%. In other news, the price of crude has settled above USD $96.41 Wednesday.
