Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) Has Dropped To A 2-Month Low After Weak Q4 Report

(RTTNews.com) - Amazon.com Inc. ( AMZN ) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.51 after the bell Thursday, compared to $0.21 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.66. Sales increased 20 percent to $25.59 billion from $21.27 billion last year. Analysts expected sales of $26.06 billion.

Looking ahead to the first quarter, the company has forecast sales in the range of $18.2 billion to $19.9 billion. Analysts currently expect first-quarter sales of $19.67 billion.

Amazon.com gapped open dramatically lower Friday morning and is now down 33.42 at $371.59. The stock has dropped below a range at the highs of the year and has set a 2-month low.
