reduction pose a challenge to processors in industries such as
rubber, plastics, food, pharmaceuticals, and others, especially
when working with heat-sensitive and tough-to-mill materials.
The microsite enables processors to optimize their overall
operation. Moreover, the microsite provides technical information
about Air Products' PolarFit Cryogenic Size Reduction Solutions
which utilize liquid nitrogen to cool down feed material prior to
and during milling. The microsite also has some videos that
illustrate how exposing material to liquid nitrogen can help
prevent melting or decomposition, or achieve embrittlement. This
results in more even particle size distribution, higher production
rates, improved product quality, and increased process safety.
Air Products' wide array of offerings include turnkey cryogenic
grinding systems, individual components to retrofit an existing
process, liquid nitrogen supply, which is available in a number of
delivery options to meet the requirements of small as well as large
