Air Products & Chemicals Inc. ( APD ) has introduced the next-generation GASGUARD AP11 controller for specialty gas delivery systems. In order to develop the AP11, Air Products compiled a number of feedbacks such as the customer feedback, real world experience of its on-site MEGASYS total gas and chemical management teams and also operating hours at different sites around the globe.

Air Products' AP11 controller underwent Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT) to facilitate reliable performance and the controller has the same size as previous GASGUARD controllers. This ensures extended life to the already installed units.

Air Products' GASGUARD AP11 controller has a 10.4-inch color touch screen with faster screen updates due to the installation of a high speed microprocessor. The controller also provides uninterrupted gas supply while in use, and uses smart indicators, which provide simplified troubleshooting, and aims on reliability in the design and testing process.

Few days ago, Air Products announced that its CryoEase microbulk solutions are providing reliable, uninterrupted supply of oxygen to North Carolina Specialty Hospital (NCSH). NCSH is benefiting from the advantages of Air Products' microbulk solutions over the conventional cylinder or dewar supply.

Air Products serves customers across a wide range of industries from food and beverage, health and personal care to energy, transportation and semiconductors. It also supplies a unique portfolio of atmospheric gases, process and specialty gases, performance materials, equipment and services.

Air Products currently carries a Zacks Rank #4 (Hold).
