AGCO Posts Q3 EPS, Revs Miss and Lowers FY EPS; Shares Slide 4%

AGCO Corp ( AGCO ) reported net income of $94.5 million, or $0.96 cents per share, compared with $84.4 million, or $0.87 cents per share, a year earlier. The Capital IQ analyst consensus called for earnings of $1.01 per share on revenue of $2.38 billion. Revenue actually rose 9% to around $2.3 billion.

The company now expects to earn $5.20 per share this year, down from a previous estimate of $5.70. Analysts on average were expecting $5.71, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

AGCO shares are down 4.4% to around $45.50.
