The company has been successful in securing a $42.2 million
contract from the Air Force to enhance their financial
managementsystem. As per the contract, Accenture will help
in the development of the second phase of the Defense Enterprise
Accounting and Management System (DEAMS). DEAMS facilitates data
transfer between the U.S. Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) and
the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS).
According to the contract, Accenture will help the U.S. Air
Force to launch and support DEAMS in various bases of the U.S.
Economic recovery has led to an increase in deal wins for

During this phase, the steady deal wins from the U.S. Government
have helped the company a great deal.
