Anna Ewing is the Executive Vice President of Operations and Technology and Chief Information Officer.

Prior to Anna's employment at NASDAQ, she was employed at CIBC World Markets in New York, where she was Managing Director, Electronic Commerce. In that role, she was responsible for applications development and e-commerce initiatives within CIBC World Markets, the investment banking arm for CIBC. She was also Global Program Manager of the CIBC World Markets Y2K Program office. Prior to that, Ms. Ewing served as Vice President at Merrill Lynch, where she held various leadership positions with the Corporate and Institutional Client Group Technology Division, including head of Institutional Client Technology, head of Financial Futures and Options and Prime Brokerage Technology and Regional Head of Merrill Lynch Canada Inc.

Ms. Ewing holds an M.B.A. from the Schulich Business School at York University in Toronto, where she majored in Management Information Systems.
