Alabama National BanCorporation to Join NASDAQ Financial-100 Index Beginning December 10, 2002


New York, N.Y.—-Alabama National BanCorporation (NASDAQ:ALAB) of Birmingham, Alabama, will become a component of the NASDAQ Financial-100 Index®, effective at the beginning of trading Tuesday, December 10, 2002. Alabama National BanCorporation will replace Interactive Data Corporation (NASDAQ:IDCO).
